My name is Rachel Williams.
I'm a freelance copywriter and website designer with experience writing content and marketing material for companies in a wide variety of industries including construction, health, fashion, and many more. If you would like to see samples of my work, visit Written With Design's Portfolio page.
Through Written With Design, I provide my clients with next-level, engaging content, web pages, email campaigns, websites, website audits, etc. When I write content or create a website for one of my clients, I put myself in the shoes of their ideal customer. Then I carefully design the content to appeal to that customer. Half of your potential customers do most of their shopping online these days, and Written With Design is here to help you reach them. Some of my clients prefer to order emails and website content from me through an online freelancing platform. If you're more comfortable with this method, I offer my services on both Fiverr and Legiit. If you would rather do the work yourself, the Written With Design Blog is a great resource.

The work I do for Written With Design's clients is a lot like crafting.
You can't just throw needles and thread into a box with a piece of fabric and expect it to turn into a shirt. You also can't expect to throw a bunch of words and industry slogan onto your homepage and suddenly get a lot of sales.
It takes time, effort, and skill. I use all three of those elements when working with my clients.

Do You Build Backlinks?
Yes and no. Written With Design can outsource the backlink building if you want that included in your project, but it is not a service I perform personally. I can build your website, and improve the SEO on the images, pages, etc. If you want recommendations on backlink-building professionals I would be more than happy to provide you with a list.
I will also post a link to your website on my portfolio page, which does count as a backlink.
Do You Build WordPress Websites?
No. Sadly I’m not a WordPress expert (still on my list of things to accomplish in life) so I don’t use it when building websites. If you need a WordPress expert, I have several business connections that I can put you in contact with. If you have a WordPress website and just need more SEO content, I can definitely help you with that.
What Industries Do You Work With?
I work with a wide variety of industries. I’ve done projects for construction companies, health companies, pet companies, and more.
There are a few industries that I do not work with:

What System Do You Use to Build Websites?
My favorite all-in-one platform is Squarespace. I always recommend it to my customers because it’s easy for them to take full control of the platform once I finish and publish the website. I’ve also used the site-building tool from Network Solutions. I can work with pretty much any hosting platform that provides a website-building tool.
Do You Make Apps?
No. Written With Design doesn’t create apps for our customers.
Will I Own Everything Once the Website is Done?
Yes. You’ll own the website, your domain name, and all the content on the website. I always request that my clients sign up for a platform and add me as a contributor. That way everything is in your name and you get the final say on everything. Once the website is done, I’ll show you how to operate it by yourself, and then it’s all yours.
Do You Provide Website Management?
Yes. I can continue managing your website after it is created and published. This will include troubleshooting any issues, adding products and content you have already created, etc. This will come with a fee of $50 per month. Managing your website does not include major changes like adding a new page to the website or creating content.
How Much Do You Charge?
For content, I charge 5 cents per word. A simple portfolio website will cost between $500 and $1000 depending on what you want it to include. An e-commerce website will cost between $1000 and $1500. A consultation call is $30 per hour.
How Long Does it Take to Set Up a Website?
It will take between 3 weeks and 2 months to set up a website. The exact time will depend on how soon you can get me the information and images for your website. It also depends on how many pages you want. A 4-page portfolio website will be finished much faster than an e-commerce website with 5 pages, a blog, and 100 products.
